The
ERB Spark N Sense 1&2 and the SNS120 provide the maximum
protection against flame out and gas failure. The Spark N Sense 1 will
keep a constant vigil over the burner flame and shut down the burner in
case of failure. The Spark N Sense 2 allows for use of separate ignition
and flame sensing connections. The SNS120 uses common 120 volts connections,
full monitoring of flame and is water resistant for easy clean up.

Sequence of Operation: On closure of the power switch, ignition is initiated
and the gas solenoid is energized. During the first 11 seconds, the burner
will light, or the unit will shut off, locking out the burner until power
has been removed for 30 seconds. Once the burner lights, the igniter will
switch from spark mode to sense mode and will then maintain the burner
operating state. If the burner loses its flame, the Spark 'N Sense will
shut off the burner within 0.4 seconds, and it will remain off until the
power has been disconnected for 30 seconds. Accessories available: 24
VAC Solenoid, 24 VAC Supply Transformer (40 VA), Ignition Electrode and
Sensor, Zone control package (allows remote starting and monitoring of
burners)
